Is this the house that had the huge Fairy Garden?

Yes! The family who built our house also established an especially beautiful and thriving Fairy wonderland. We’ve heard great stories about it and if you’ve got a story to share, we’d love to hear it! We have big shoes to fill, but hope the Fairies are enjoying our garden as it grows.

Is there really an old sailboat at Cherry Park?

Yes! It even has a slide. There are a few other new additions to the Cherry Park playground, too

Is this house two units or one whole house?

Our house is one whole house with 3 floors and interior stairs to each floor. The first floor could be it’s own apartment because it has beds, a full bath, a kitchenette, a living room, and a pool table -but- it is fully connected to the rest of the house, not a side unit or apartment, offering lots of privacy and flexibility.

Can I bring my dog?

Sometimes. Please see House Rules for more information .

Can I bring my cat?

No, unfortunately, we can never allow cats.

Can I stay here during the winter?

Yes, the house is insulated and heated and very enjoyable in the off-season. We visit and perform maintenance and renovation projects in the Fall/Winter/Spring, but may be able to work around your schedule if you’d like to come for a stay.

Those big windows are great but what if I want privacy?

The second floor has shades to provide privacy when you’d like. All bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, and bathrooms have blinds and/or curtains.
