If you are renting our house through Lakeside Chautauqua Cottage Rentals or have hired a cleaner, the cleaners should clean the toilets, sinks, showers, and sweep/vacuum/clean the floors. If you did not have cleaning included with your stay or if you did not hire your own cleaner, you will need to complete these cleaning tasks before leaving.
We can help hire a cleaner if you would like, but this should be planned in advance of your departure so the house is ready for the next guest to check-in by 3pm of your departure day. If you aren’t sure whether your stay has cleaning included, please contact us for help. Our caretaker will be in to make sure the house is ready for the next guest and, if it is not, there may be a full or partial reduction to your deposit refund or a charge to the credit card on file with Lakeside Cottage Rentals.
If these house rules or any Lakeside rules and regulations are not followed we may not be able to
refund any of your deposit and may even have to ask you to leave before your check-out day with
out a refund of your rental rate. Please talk to us before your stay if you have any concerns.
